ASSOCIATIONS TOO LATE FOR INSERTION.
ORPHAN AND DESTITUTE CHILDREN'S
EMIGRATION HOMES.
Boys' Home — Cessnock House, Govan Road.
Girls' Home — 93 Renfield Street.
Orphan Home Mission Hall and Childrens'
Night Refuge — East Greerae Street.
Instituted and superintended by Wm. Quarrier.
Carried on on what is known as the Miiller principle.
The object of the Homes is to rescue orphan and
destitute children, and to find homes for them in
Christian families, here or in Canada. Ages of
children taken in from 4 to 14 years, and must be
healthy and destitute. Object of the mission is to
bring Gospel influences to bear on the most neglected,
to assist poor widows by helping them to work for
which they are paid, and to provide a bed and
supper for any homeless child who may be sent to
the Refuge. Also educational classes for youths
and young men ; and a free public house without
drink, where working men who have not home com-
forts are welcome to spend their leisure time.
Donations in money, clothing, and provisions, will
be duly acknowledged by Wm. Quarrier, 15 Dal-
housie street.
BEIDGETON ASSOCIATION FOR RELIGIOUS
AND INTELLECTUAL IMPROVEMENT.

The principal object of the association is the moral
and religious improvement of the population of
Bridgeton by the circulation of the Scriptures, the
delivery of lectures, the establishment of Sabbath
schools, the support of week-day and evening schools,
and such other measures as appear best calculated
to promote those ends.

GARDNER'S FREE SCHOOL,

From funds left by the late Moses Gardner, and
affords gratuitous instruction in reading, writing, and
arithmetic for three years to thirty-flve boys and

The yachts of this club have the special privilege,
by warrants from the Lords of the Admiralty, of
wearing the blue ensign ; they have also the privi-
lege of entering the ports of France, Holland, &c ,
free of dues. The Lords Commissioners of her
Majesty's Treasury have been pleased to concede to
this Club all the privileges usually granted to other
Royal Yacht Clubs. The distinguishing flags of tlic
Club are, " Blue Burgee with Yellow Crown and
Anchor, and Blue Ensign." The Annual Regattas
of the Club fake place at various ports on the Clyde.
