the Vapour, and Tepid and Cold Shower,

Excellent in Paralysis, Lumbago, and Rheumatism.
The Fume Baths are highly efficacious in all Skin Diseases, and in removing Mercury
or its effects from the system. In hundreds of cases, a few Baths cure severe cases of
Rheumatism.

THE GREAT LUXURY OF THE AGE IS THE VAPOUR BATH.
Its advantages are many: —
1st. — It is a pure wash, much more so than water; it cleans out most effectually, 'the
Warm Water Bath after it carries off what the Vapour has brought out ; then the
Tepid and Cold Shower following, forms the most agreeable luxury imaginable.
2d. — Being administered under Medical surveillance, it removes many complaints, and
supersedes a vast deal of drugging and physicking.
3d. — It is the cheapest, quickest, and most certain remedy for Cold, Rheumatism, and
pains in any part of the body.
Every Bath is in a separate and distinct compartment, and quite private, ensuring the
utmost comfort combined with elegance. The rooms are all well ventilated ; the water is
heated with steam, rendering it pure and soft for the skin. To avoid the evils attending
the use of Lead and Zinc Baths, the Proprietor has introduced Porcelain, Marble, and
Welsh Slate Baths. All medical and scientific gentlemen are aware that Baths lined with
Lead and Zinc are not so good ; that cutaneous, or skin and other diseases have been
communicated by their use ; besides, it is a most difficult matter to keep them clean.
