EXEMPTION from Stamp Duty and Income Tax. — Policies are now issued
by this Office free, of charge for Stamp Duty ; and by the Act 16 and 17 Vict, c. 34,
Annual Premiums securing Life Assurances or Deferred Annuities, effected by
any person on his own life, or on the life of his wife, are exempted from Income Tax.
CLAIMS are paid either on Scotch or English Titles ; and parties transacting
with the Office in Scotland secure every benefit they can obtain in an exclusively Scotch
Office.
ANNUITIES, Immediate, Deferred, and Contingent ; and. ENDOWMENTS.
Prospectuses, with Tubles of Rates, &c, may be obtained at the Head Offices, or from
the Agents in all the principal Towns of Scotland.
