PUBLIC STANDS.,
The following places are hereby ap-
pointed Public Stands : —
1. George's Square (excepting the
west side, where no Carriage
will be allowed to stand), in-
cluding the Station of the Edin-
burgh Railway, St. Vincent
Place, and Royal Exchange.
2. St. Enoch Square.
3. The top of North Street, near
Woodside Crescent.
4. The Cross, including London
Street.
5. Broomielaw, Upper Wharf.
6. Commerce Street.
The number of Carriages at each of the
Stands, or Divisions of Stands, and the
spaces to be occupied, shall be fixed
from time to time as may be found neces-
sary.
When a part}' not exceeding two grown-
up persons, and without any luggage
other than a carpet bag, or the like, en-
ters a Carriage at a Stand (not being one
of the Railway Stations), or when driving
along disengaged, they shall be driven
half a mile for Sixpence, and if they
return, they shall pay another Sixpence.
