PERTHSHIRE CHARITABLE.
Instituted 22d Dec, 1835.
The principal object of this Society, the
qualification for membership of which con-
sists of a small sum of entry-money, is to
afford relief to persons in indigent circum-
stances, natives or widows of natives of
Perthshire, and their children resident in
Glasgow and the neighbourhood ; or to
natives of the county passing through the
city unexpectedly falling into distress.

GRAHAM CHARITABLE.
This Society was instituted in the year
1759, and was incorporated by Seal of
Cause from the Magistrates and Town
Council of Glasgow, upon the 2d day of
Jan., 1770, None are eligible as members
of the Society except persons of the name
of Graham and their descendants, or those
married to individuals of that name or
their descendants. The entry-money to
strangers is £5 5s., and to sons and sons-
in-law of members, £3 3s.
