SMALL DEBT COURT OF THE
JUSTICES.
This court, on six clays inducia, decides
claims of £5 and under, sits every Tues-
day and Friday, at 11 o'clock, forenoon,
in the Small Debt Court Hall at the
Jail. Two Justices are the Judges.
Summonses and warrants are issued for
the Lower Ward of Lanarkshire at the
Justice of Peace Clerk's Office, County
Buildings, Glasgow, entering by 107
Brunswick Street. George Crawford,
Clerk-, Robert R. M'Donald and George
Clelland, Depute- Clerks.
JUSTICE OF PEACE COURT.
Sittings of the Small Debt Court, every
Tuesday and Friday, at 1 1 o'clock, in the
Court Hall at the Jail. Sittings for
summary proceedings and criminal cases
in the Justice's Hall, Count}' Buildings,
on Monday and Thursdaj- at 1 o'clock.
Business is transacted in the Clerk's
Office, County Buildings, 107 Brunswick
Street, Glasgow, every day from 9 a.m.
till 5 p.m., Saturday excepted, when the
office shuts at 2 p.m. George Crawford,
Clerk of the Peace; Robert R. M'Donald
and Geo. Clelland, Depute-Clerks; John
Lang, jun., Procurator-Fiscal; John Bu-
chanan, Bar-Officer.
BURGH COURTS.

Held in the Burgh Court Hall, on Friday,
at 11 o'clock, in cases of debts, &c, ex-
ceeding 40s.
Summer term, from 12th May until
10th July.
Winter term, from 12th November
until 11th March, and occasionally dur-
ing the vacations.

Held every lawful day, at 10 o'clock, in
the Police Office, South Albion Street,
Glasgow ; and in the Police Offices of
Gorbals, Anderston, Calton, and Cow-
caddens respectively.

Sits every alternate Thursday, at 11
o'clock, in the Burgh Court Hall.
