das (Linlithgowshire), has represented the

Dunlop, Alexander Murray, Esq., of
Corsock, Advocate (Greenock), was chosen
to represent the burgh at the general

cudbrightshire.
Elcho, Lord (Haddingtonshire), sat
for the eastern division of Gloucestershire
from 1841 to 1846; chosen to represent
the county at the general elections in
1847 and 1852, and again elected 10th
Jan., 1853, on being appointed Lord of

&c), returned for Huddersfield in 1837 ;

burghshire), represented the county from
1837 to 1841, and was again chosen at

fries, &c), sat for Blechingley from 1828
to 1830, for Liverpool from 1830 to 1837,

shire) sat for the Kirkcaldy district of

ington, D.C.L. (Edinburgh), sat for Calne
in 1830-2, when he held the office of

1832-4, when he filled the situation of
Secretary to the India Board ; was a
Member of the Supreme Council in India,
from 1834 to 1838 ; chosen for the city
in June, 1839, and re-elected on the 23rd
Jan., 1840, having been appointed Secre-
tary at War on the 27th Sept., 1839 ;
again chosen at the general election in
1841, and re-elected on 14th July, 1846,
on his appointment to the office of Pay-
master-General of the Forces; and was
again chosen at the general election in
