IN announcing his removal to the premises just erected, in accordance with a plan
suited to the peculiar requirements of this business, Mr. Johnston deems it a
proper opportunity to introduce a list of leading articles, -which was rendered all the
more necessary, as few of the customers or general trade were aware of the full
variety of the goods kept in stock by him, and much disappointment and trouble to
them was the consequence.
Special attention is invited to the fact, that the Glasgow Tube and Metal "Ware-
house is the only place in Scotland where a Stock is kept of all the articles
required by Lampmakeks and Brassfounders.
It is the exclusive source of supply in Scotland for most of the new patterns in
Struck Work and Lamp Furnishings, in addition to the productions of the older
houses, whose patterns are more general.
No agency is entered into for Metals or other goods, unless put into a position to
sell at least as cheap as if ordered direct from the Works.
The Trade can thus procure, through one channel, the productions of various manu-
facturers, which would otherwise require to have been ordered in several different
lots, liable to delays, high prices, and expense of extra charges for goods in separate
parcels.
Not the least important advantages to the Trade are, that they can at all times
get conveniently and promptly all that is required. The same attention being given
to small as to large orders, they can avoid the necessity of keeping a large assortment
of goods, and consequently lessen the risk of loss on bad stock.

Brass Tubes of the best Birmingham quality, for Lustre-makers. Tin and Composi-
tion Gas-pipe. Fancy Reeded, Spiral, and Cable Brass Tube, from § to 2 in. dia-
meter, always in stock. Brass Beading, or Open Joint Tube. Patent Cased Tube,
for Picture Rods, any size to order. Tubes made expressly for Beer Engines, and
Pump Chambers for Plumbers. Copper Tubes of the usual sizes always in stock.
Superior Machine-drawn Copper Tubes, for Heating and Condensing Apparatus, to
any dimensions reouired by the Trade.
