Council of Glasgow, upon the 2d day of
Jan., 1770. None are eligible as mem-
bers of the Society except persons of the
name of Graham and their descendants, or
those married to individuals of that name
or their descendants. The entry-money
to strangers is £o. 5s., and to sons and
sons-in-law of members, £3. 3s.

eligible by connection with any of these
counties.

The principal object of this Society is-
to afford pecuniary aid to indigent natives,
or widows or children of natives of these
counties resident in Glasgow, or passing
through it, and unexpectedly (from po-
verty, sickness, or accident) reduced to
distress. Three guineas paid at entry, or
one guinea and ten shillings annually for
five successive years, constitute member-
ship to parties eligible by connection with
any of these counties. Honorary mem-
bers, not necessarily connected with any
of said counties, admitted upon payment
of one guinea.

neighbourhood ; or the natives of the shire

pectedly falling into distress.
