192 AD VEETISEMENTS.
SIGHTHILL CEMETERY.
I^HE Public are invited to visit this beautiful Garden Cemetery, consisting of 50 Acres,
more than half of which is already laid out in fine Walks and Parades, extending
upwards of 4 miles. Its elevated situation and commanding views, with the picturesque
beauty and various tastes displayed at immense cost in its embellishment, entitle it to its
designation of the Pure la Chaise of Glasgow. From its extent, the Directors are
enabled to accommodate themselves both to the taste and circumstances of every Pur-
chaser, while, at the same time, a Nursery Garden, containing every variety of Plant
suitable to the climate, is kept for supplying Purchasers with Flowers and Shrubs for the
ornament of their burial-places.
Every encouragement is given to those desiring to erect Monuments. A handsome
Chapel and Gateway are erected.
Apply to Hill, Davidson, Hill, & Clark, 1 South Frederick Street ; or Mr.
Cowan, at the Cemetery.
