I^HIS Company, formerly designed " The Aberdeen Fire and Life Assurance
Company," and now Incorporated by Act of Parliament under the above title,
prosecutes the business of Life Assurance in all its Branches.
The Non-participation, or exclusively Proprietary Department, embraces every descrip-
tion of Assurances on Single and Joint Lives and Survivorships, on the lowest terms
consistent with perfect security.
The Participation scheme, which was begun in 1 840, has been attended with great
success, as indicated by the Bonuses added to Assurances of this class, viewed in connec-
tion with the moderate rates of premium. These are, in many cases, so much below
those usually charged, as to be equivalent to Bonuses of very considerable amount.
Parties joining this scheme incur no responsibility of Mutual Assurance, the original
sums in the Policies and Bonuses, when declared, being guaranteed by the Company.
Annuities are sold on favourable terms.
Prospectuses, containing Tables of Rates and Forms of Proposal, with every infor-
mation, may be had on application.
FIRE IN SURAH CE,
At the reduced Premium of Is. 6d. per cent., and upwards. Policies with other offices
may be transferred free of expense.
