The Directors have recently revised and placed on a very liberal footing, as follows
THE GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ASSURANCE.
LIMITS OF RESIDENCE.
Parties assured may, without payment of any extra Premium, reside in any part
of Europe, or in the possessions of Great Britain, or the United States in North
America east of the 100th degree of West Longitude, but excepting, during the
months of July, August, September, and October, any portion south of 36 degrees
North Latitude ; and the Directors will also allow residence in other parts of the
world where they shall be satisfied that there is no extra risk.
PERMISSION TO VOYAGE.
Parties (not being seafaring persons by occupation) may, without extra charge,
and without an}' special license, pass by sea in steam or decked vessels from one part
of Europe to another, and in Contract Mail or First-Class Steamers to and from any
part of the world.
N.B. — It will be observed that this applies solely to voyaging, and by no means to
residence.
IMPORTANT MODIFICATION OF SUICIDE, &c, CLAUSE.
The clause of forfeiture in consequence of death by suicide, duelling, or the hands
of justice, does not affect the interest of anv party onerously in right of the Policy,
