Policies issued to Employers against (1) Liability at Common Law,
(2) Employers' Liability Act, 1880, and (3) Workmen's Com-
pensation Act, 1897, and
THIRD PARTY RISKS.
The Association was established by Employers for Employers, and is controlled
by the Policy Holders. Its operations are confined to Employers' Liability
Insurance. The entire profits belong to the Policy Holders.
The Association is able to offer all trades the advantages of a well-arranged
system of Mutual Insurance without any personal liability on the part
of the Policy Holders, as employers in the same industry may form a " s])ecial
class," among whom the entire profits arising in that class are divisible.
The Association is prepared to undertake the insurance of members of Trade
Associations on special terms — under which no liability beyond a fixed provisional
premium is incurred by the Policy Holders, the actual cost of the Insurance only
being ultimately exacted.
