The limitation of weight is not the
same to places abroad as for in-
land circulation.
When sent to Germany, Russia,
Denmark; Turkey, Moldavia,
Wallachia, &c., via Belgium, to
Greece, the Ionian Islands, the
United States, the Azores, Cape
de Verds, Madeira, or Portugal,
unbound proof sheets (but these
only) may contain ordinary cor-
rections of the press, and a packet
sent to the United States may
in addition contain the written
name and address of the sender.
No packet must exceed 18 inches
in width, depth, or length when
sent to Turkey, Syria, or Fgypt
by French Packet, or to the
Azores, Cape de Verds, Madeira,
or Portugal. In all other cases
the limit is 24 inches in length,
and 12inches in width and depth.
Printed papers cannot be sent via
Belgium to places in Up. Egypt.
Books sent to Spain, the Balearic
or Canary Islands, must be un-
bound; and no prints, music,
maps, or drawings are allowed,
unless they form part of the pub-
lication with which they are sent.
*Cases,rollers,maps,book-markers,
pencils, pens, &c., may not be
sent in a packet of printed papers
to any couutiy besides those
marked thus *.
Photographs on paper may be sent
only to the countries marked
thus J, and to the United States.
