THIS ASSOCIATION undertakes every description of risk contingent on human life, either at home
or abroad, embracing all the usual forms of Life Assurance, Annuities, and Endowments, com-
bined with liberal provisions for the advantage, convenience, and accommodation of the Assured.
The Assured on the Participation Scale share in the Profits to as large an extent as in the Mutual
Societies, and without liability. Additions, amounting to upwards of £100,000, have already been
made to the Participation Policies. Thus, Policies for £1000 opened in 1840 have been increased to
£1245, being an addition of nearly Twenty- five per cent, to the Sum Assured. The Profits may,
if preferred, be applied in Reduction of Premiums. Policies now effected will participate in the
Thiiu) Division of Profits in i860.
SPECIMENS OE BONUS ADDITIONS ALREADY DECLARED.
Claims are paid either in London, Edinburgh, or Glasgow, and either on Scotch or English Titles ;
and persons transacting with the Office in Scotland secure every benefit the}' can obtain in an exclu-
sively Scotch Office. The Claims paid since the commencement amount to upwards of £250,000.
Loans are granted in connexion with Life Assurance, on approved Personal or other security.
Annuities, Immediate, Deferred, and Contingent; and Eudowments.
No Entry Money or Stamp Duty charged.
Prospectuses, with Tables of Rates, &c, maybe obtained at the Head Offices, or from the Agents
in all the principal Towns of Scotland.
