AGAINST FIRE, AND ON LIVES AND
SURVIVORSHIPS, PURCHASE OF
ANNUITIES, REVERSIONS,

This Society has heen established upon principles afford-
ing important advantages to the assured, combined with
the most perfect security ; a deposit of ten per cent of the
capital, amounting to Two Hundred Thousand Pounds,
having been paid up by the shareholders, which is held as
a guarantee fund for claims.
FIRE DEPARTMENT.
The Assured are entitled to one-third of the Profits,
without any liability on their part to the losses.
LIFE DEPARTMENT.
The Assured are entitled to two-thirds of the Profits,
without any liability on their part to the losses.
The Premiums charged are lower than those of the ma-
jority of other offices.
The business of the Life Department is kept distinct
from that of the Fire, and its accumulations are not liable to
make good any losses arising therefrom.
No part of the accumulations of the Life Assurance
fund is appropriated for payment of interest to the share-
holders.
The Rates of Premium, and all other particulars, may
