'Post Office Glasgow directory' for 1911-1912
The 'Post Office Glasgow directory' for 1911-1912 includes an advertisement for Castlebank Dyeworks, one of Glasgow's oldest and largest laundries, founded by Alexander Kennedy in 1878.
The advert promotes their new Franco Barbe Process, which involved bathing the stained material in hot spirit.
