A selection of 50 items, dating from the 15th to the 18th century, from the library of Sunderland Hall, near Selkirk in the Scottish Borders. The collection is mostly English literature, but it also includes seven incunabula in six volumes, including a copy of 'Dives and pauper' from Wynkyn de Worde's Westminster press (1496). There are also 18 pre-1701 items, and a book, Gessner's 'New Idylles' (London, 1776), bound by James Scott of Edinburgh.
