A miscellaneous collection of 20th-century Romanian literature, it was subsequently augmented to include literary and scientific periodicals from the University. The collection contains 310 items on literature, history, geography, linguistics, art and archaeology.

Organisation

The books have been catalogued individually and have the shelfmark 'Rom.'.

Acquisition

The collection was presented to the Library by the University of Bucharest in 1964, through the good offices of the Romanian literary historian, Prof Jean Livescu.
