A collection of 85 scrapbooks of newspaper cuttings and ephemera collected by the late John Penman of Edinburgh. The cuttings mostly relate to the Edinburgh International Festival and Fringe from 1949 to 2000. It also includes items on the arts and travel in Europe and postcards.

Organisation

Collection-level record only, the collection has been assigned the shelfmark 'Pen.'. The scrapbooks are individually numbered and arranged in chronological order. The collection also includes a manuscript listing of the collection by John Penman.

Acquisition

The collection was bequeathed to the Library by Mr Penman and was received in 2001.
