A collection consisting of around 4,500 colour slides dating from the mid-1960s to the present day, the slides illustrate town-planning and development and architecture in Scotland and major European cities.

Collection-level record only in the Library catalogue, the collection has been assigned the shelfmark 'MacD.'. Each slide is labelled with the location and date when it was taken.

Acquisition

The collection was presented to the Library by Frank E McDonald of Armadale, West Lothian, between 1972 and 1989.
