Description

A collection of around 300 printed works by the Scottish artist, writer, poet and gardener Ian Hamilton Finlay (1925-2006). Finlay was famed for his 'concrete poetry' and examples of this genre are present in the collection as well as book art productions from his Wild Hawthorn Press, founded in 1961.

The books have been catalogued individually and have the shelfmark 'IHF.'.

Acquisition

The books were acquired by the Library over a number of years through purchase and donation and brought together into one collection.
