A selection of around 300 items, consisting of books, offprints and ephemera and auction and exhibition catalogues from the collection of Dr Iain Gordon Brown, former Principal Curator of Manuscripts in the Library. The collection reflects Dr Brown's interests in Scottish literature of the 18th and 19th centuries, art and architecture, and the Grand Tour.

The books have been catalogued individually and have the shelfmark 'IGB.'.

Acquisition

The books have been donated by Dr Brown from 2011 onwards.
