that Our One Juft Power and Authority will ( with Gocfs
BleOTing) be Kefiored tolls, than that we hear You are again acknowledged
to have that Authority and Jurifdi<ftion3 which, hath always belonged to You,
by yOur Birth, and the Fundamental Laws of the Land j and We have thought
it very fit and fafe for Us to call to You for Tour Help* in the Compofing the
Confounding Diftempefs and Diflrall ions of the Kingdom • on which Your Suf¬
ferings are next to thole We have undergone Our Self. Therefore, You
cannot but be the moft proper Counfellofs, for removing thefe Mifcbiefs> and
for preventing the hke^ for the future. How great a Triift We rfepofe in
You, for the Procuring and Eftabiilhing a Blejfed Peace and Security for the
Kingdom^ will appear to You by Our Inclofed Declaration • wlikrfc Jruft, We
are moft confident. You Will Difcharge with that Juftiee and Wifdom, that
becomes You, andfmuft always be expeded from You; and that upon Your
Experience, haw one Violation fucceeds anotherw When the known Rela¬
tions and Rules of juftice are Tranfgreffed, You will be, as Jealous for the
Rights of the Crown, and for the Honour of the King, as Our Self: and then
you cannot but difcharge your Truft with Good Succefs, and provide for, and
Eftablifh the Peace, Happinefs, and Honour of King, Lords, and Commons,
upon that Foundation which can only fupport it, and We fhall be all Happy
in each other: And as the whole Kingdom will blefs God for You, We alfo
/hall hold Our Self Obliged, in an efpecial manner, to Thank You in particu¬
lar, according to the Afre&ion You /ball exprefs towards Us. We need the
lefs enlarge to You on this Sub jell, becaufe We have likewife Writ to the
