Robert Bolron, being in the Prefence of Almighty God, the Blefled Mary ever

my Ghoftiy Father; Do declare, and in my Heart believe the Pope, Chrift’s
’Vicar General, to be the True, and only Head of CHRISTS CHURCH here

hath Broke his Vows with his Holinefles Agents beyond Seas, and not performed his

I do Renounce, and Dilbwn any Allegiance as due to thefaid pretended KING of
England, or Obedience to any of his Inferiour Officers and Magiftrates; but do be¬
lieve the Protettant Dottrine to be Heretical and Damnable, and that all are Damn’d
which do not Fot lake the fame; and to the befl: of my power, will help his Holinefles
Agents here in England, to Extirpate and Root Out the laid Protettant Doffrine, and
to Defiroy the laid pretended KING of England, and all fuch of his Subjects, as will
: not Adhere to the Holy See of Rome, and the Religion there Profejfed.
I further do promife and declare, That I will keep Secret and Private, and not Di¬
vulge diredly or indiredlly, by Word, Writing, or Gircumftance, whatever lhall be
propofed, given in charge* or difeoveredtome, by You my Ghoftiy Father, or any
-Other Engaged in the promoting of this Picut and Holy Defigne; and that I will be

AH which I do Swear by the Bleffed Trinity, and by the Blejfed Sacrament, which I
now purpofe to Receive, to perform, and on my part, to keep Inviolable: And do call
