Retired Pay.
Note. — Thla document is Government property. The Declaration and Receipt below should
be completed by the Officer and signed by him in the presence of the attestor on or after (and in
no circumstances before) the last day of the period for which payment is being claimed (whether
Sunday or weekday). The Voucher should then be passed through a Bank for presentation at the
Office of H.M. Paymaster General, Whitehall, S.W.I, where it must be left for one day for examination.
Retired Pay can neither be sold nor transferred, nor can it be assigned as security for debt or
otherwise and the Paymaster General accepts no responsibility for any advance of money made against
this Voucher In anticipation of its acceptance and payment at the Paymaster General's Office.
Slight manuscript alterations in either the declaration or receipt will be accepted, if initialled in
the declaration by the person attesting, in the receipt by the Payee.
An officer in receipt of Retired Pay or Pension proposing to proceed abroad should notify to the
Air Ministry his address and the probable duration of his stay abroad.
Officers should Inform the Air Ministry immediately of the fact of their having sought or obtained
a foreign nationality.
Retired Pay, payment of which is not claimed within a period of twelve calendar months from the
date on which it might have been claimed, is liable to be forfeited, except in such special circumstances
as may be approved by the Air Counoil.
