t The Pensions for Chief Gunners, Chief Boatswains and Commissioned Shipwrights have
been grouped with a view to equalizing the Pensions open to each rank. Vacancies, as they
arise, will be allotted proportionately to the number of Officers on the lists of the several
ranks.
Chief Gunners and Chief Boatswains promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, ana Com-
missioned Shipwrights promoted to the rank of Shipwright-Lieutenant, are eligible for these
Pensions.
I The Pensions for Gunners, Boatswains and Warrant Shipwrights have been grouped, with
a view to equalizing the Pensions open to eaoh rank. Vacancies as they arise will be allotted
proportionately to the number of Warrant Officers on the lists of the several ranks.
