COLONIAL COUBTS OF ADMIRALTY.
By the Act 63 A 54 Vict., c. 27, which save as therein provided, came into operation generally
on the 1st July 1891, all the Vice- Admiralty Courts in British Possessions abroad were abolished
and Admiralty jurisdiction was given to every Court of law in a British Possession which should
for the time being be declared in pursuance of the Act to be a Court of Admiralty, or which, in
the absence of any such declaration, should have original unlimited civil jurisdiction therein.
