t The Pensions for Chief Gunners, Chief Boatswains and Chief Carpenters have been
grouped with a view to equalizing the Pensions open to each rank. Vacancies, as they
arise, will be allotted proportionately' to the number of Officers on the lists of the several
ranks.
Chief Gunners and Chief Boatswains promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, and Chief Car-
penters promoted to the ranK of Carpenter-Lieutenant, are eligible for these Pensions.
I The Pensions for Gunners, Boatswains, and Carpenters have been grouped, with a view to
equalizing the Pensions open to each rank. Vacancies as they arise will be allotted proportionately
to th« number of Warrant Officers on the lists of the several ranks.
