mission of Girls into Schools to tee
Maintained at. the Expense of
Greenwich Hospital Funds.
The Admiralty have power to admit into Schools, etc..
Daughters of Warrant Officers, Second Mates of Coast Gruard
Cruisers, and Non-Commissioned. Officers, and Petty Officers and
men of the Eoyal Navy or Marines.
Cases are considered according to the length of the fathers'
services at sea, in the following order : —
(1) Total orphans.
(2) Father killed, drowned, or deceased in H.M. Service.
(3) Father dead.
(4) Father living, mother dead.
(5) Cases not specified in the above classes.
Applications are not received until the candidates are 8$ yean
of age, nor after 10 years of age, except under special circumstance*.
Forms will be sent on application to the Director of Greenwich
Hospital, Admiralty, S.W.I .
"Rotely" Educational Grants.
Under the Will of the late Miss Jane Rotely, of Swansea, Sis Grants of the
value of £*'0 a year each, are available in aid of the education and maintenance of
sons of Officers of the Royal N;ivy and Royal Marines, not below Ward Room rank.
Candidates must not be under 10 years of age.
The Grants will be tenable for a period not exceeding 5 years and cannot be held
after the age of 18.
