Attached to Naval and Marine Shore Establishmewts.
The limits of age for service in these Corps are from 8 to 16 years. Each Corps is
raised and controlled by a local Committee composed of Officers or Officers and men of
the various Establishments.

PRE-ENTRY TRAINING -
Sea Cadet Corps
The Sea Cadet Corps is composed of officially recognised pre-entry Naval Training
Units and is administered by various Central Associations.
The Authority to whom the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty delegate their
power to authorise the formation of Sea Cadet Units and to direct the organisation
and training is the Admiral Commanding Reserves. Administration and finance is
directed by the Central Associations concerned. Copies of Regulations governing
the formation, organisation and administration of units of Sea Cadet Corps can be
obtained from the Admiral Commanding Reserves or from the Central Associations.
