Duties.

an Accountant Officer who
has passed the qualifying
Examination for Advance-
ment to Paymaster Lieu-
tenant-Commander.
In the Seniority List denotes a
Schoolmaster who has passed
the Advanced Course.
In the Seniority List denotes
an Accountant Officer who
has passed the Accountant
• Officers Technical Course.
After a Medal or Decoration
for Valour in any reference
to an Officer's name denotes
that the Officer has been
awarded a Bar to such Meda!
or Decoration. The award

Course at Greenwich.

(N) . . In a ship, denotes an Officer
borne for Navigating Duties.

months service in an appoint-
ment " in lieu of Specialist

been recommended by his
Commanding Officer, and is
indicative of practical ex-
perience in Navigation of
H.M. Ships at sea — irrespec-

particular course.
