The Lecture Library is for the supply of Lecture Lanterns, Lantern Slides and
Lectures to H.M. Ships and Naval and Royal Marine Establishments, and is
administered from Greenwich. The Stock of Lanterns and Apparatus, Lectures and
Slides is, however, stored at the R.N. Store Depot, Royal Victoria Yard, Deptford.
Requirements should be demanded on Form S. 134d from the Naval Store
Officer, Royal Victoria Yard, Deptford, S.E.8.
Special Slides : — Slides to illustrate Lectures written by Officers in H.M.
Services for instructional purposes can be manufactured and provided by this
Establishment.
Confidential Slides : — Anything of a confidential nature should be so marked.
Confidential Slides are bound in red and marked Confidential.
Slides not to be hired : — Slides are not to be hired as a charge to Naval
Funds without Admiralty sanction being first obtained.
Suggestions : — Commanding Officers are invited to forward suggestions for
new subjects.
Catalogues of Slides are to be found in the Ships' Libraries, or can be obtained
from the Naval Store Officer, Royal Victoria Yard, Deptford, S.E.8.

The complete series at the National Library of Scotland runs from August 1870 to June 1940, but does not include monthly lists for those months covered by quarterly lists. |
