The School provides a high-class modem education on Public School lines.
Daughters and granddaughters of Officers of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines
and, when vacancies permit, daughters of Officers of the Royal Indian Navy and Royal
Naval Reserve are eligible for admission.
The Fees charged are adjustable where necessary to meet the particular circumstances
of Parents or Guardians.
The Foundation also provides for a limited number of pupils at Fees of £20 per annnm
These are elected by Subscribers and elections take place annually in July.
Scholarships available amount to £600 per annum.
Donations and bequests towards the Centenary Extension and Improvement Fund wil
he very gratefully received. Any further information can he obtained by application to the
Bursar and Secretary, at the School.
GREENWICH HOSPITAL
Educational Grants for Officers' Children
The Admiralty have power to award Grants of £20 per annum from the funds of
Greenwich Hospital towards the education and maintenance of the Sons and Daughters,
between the ages of 10 and 18 years, of " Deceased or Distressed Commissioned Officers
of the Royal Navy or Marines." These grants may extend for a period not exceeding
5 years, conduct and character being satisfactory, but in no case beyond the age of 18.
Supplementary Grants, not exceeding £20 per annum, may be awarded in a limited ■
number of cases.
The term " Commissioned Officers " includes Commissioned Officers from Warrant
Rank and Chief Officers and Senior Mates of Coast Guard Cruisers.
It is open to Parents or Guardians to send Children to Schools in any part of the
country, subject to Admiralty approval of the School selected.
Claims are considered in the following order : —
(1) Total orphans.
(2) Father lulled, drowned, or deceased in H.M. Service.
(3) Father dead.
(4) Father living, mother dead.
(6) Cases not specified in the above classes.

" ROTELY" EDUCATIONAL GRANTS
Under the Will of the late Miss Jane Rotely, of Swansea, Eleven Grants of the
value of £20 a year each, are available in aid of the education and maintenance of sons
of Officers of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, not below Ward Room rank.
Candidates must not be under 10 years of age.
The grants will be tenable for a period not exceeding 5 years and cannot be held
after the age of 18.
