COLONIAL COURT OF ADMIRALTY.
By the Act 53 & 54 Vict. c. 27, which, save as therein provided, came into operation generally on the
1st July, 1891, all the Vice-Admiralty Courts in British Possessions abroad were abolished and Admiralty
iurisdiction was given to every Court of .Law in a British Possession which should for the time beiiiK be
declared in pursuance of the Act to be a Court of Admiralty, or which, in the absence of any such declaration
sliould have original unlimited civil jurisdiction therein.
