LIVERPOOL COLLEGE.
War Memorial Entrance Scholarships.
Scholarships on the War Memorial Foundation, inclnding the Alan Bodey
Johnston and Rntt«r Scholarships are available on the following conditions : —
The candidate mast be a boy (a) whose father has served or is serving apon
Botive service in any of the King's Forces as a Commissioned Officer, or if an Old
Lerpoolian in any Rank ; or (fe) whose father has served or is serving in any arm of
the Regular Forces in the rani of permanently Commissioned Officer.

OUNDLE SCHOOL.
Scholarships for Sons of Officers.
The Court of the Grocers' Company, as the Governing Body of Oundle School,
award three Scholarships, of the value of £50 a year at Oundle School to the Sons of
Officers of the Navy, Army and Air Force, preference being given to those still upon the
active list.
Candidates must not be under the age of 13 years, and the award will be subject
to their passing the common entrance examination.
The fees and other incidental expenses at Oundle amount to approximately
SSOO a year.
Applications should be forwarded, with a testimonial from the Headmaster of the
candidate's present school, to

DEVON.
Founded and Endowed by Admiral Kelly in 1877, to provide a full ednoation in
preparation for the Universities and the Services, etc.
Seholarahips and Exhibitions, £60 — ^£10, in June, age under 14, on Ist July.
Preference of entry is given to Naval Officers' sons, for whom there are oertais
vaoanoies on reduced fees.
For Prospectus and Particulars apply to the Headmaster.
ST. ED WARD'S SCHOOL, OXFORD.
Close exhibitions for the sons of officers of the R.N. & R.M., on the
active and retired lists, are awarded by the Governors of the above school
thrice yearly. Candidates will be selected on the results of the Public
School Entrance Examination, and will be required to attend for an
interview at St. Edward's School, at which additional papers may be set.
Application for details of the exhibitions should be made to the Warden
of the School.

Description | These lists covering 1913, 1914, 1918, 1919, 1920, 1939 and 1940 were produced monthly. From mid-1870 to March 1924 navy lists were released both quarterly and monthly. The complete series at the National Library of Scotland runs from August 1870 to June 1940, but does not include monthly lists for those months covered by quarterly lists. |
