ROYAL SCHOOL FOR NAVAL AND MARINE OFFICERS' DAUGHTERS
(LATE THE ROYAL NAVAL FEMALE SCHOOL),
ST. MARGARET'S, TWICKENHAM.
Pupils elected by the Subscribers pay only £12 a year for a First-class Education, including
board, &c. Elections take place annually in May, applications to b<5 sent in before 1st March,
The School presents exceptional advantages to Officers in more affluent circumstances who
may wish to obtain for their daughters the best education at sums fa* below the ordinary
charges.
Granddaughters of Officers, and daughters of Officers of the Koya* Indian Marine and
of The R. N. R. are eligible for admission. Particulars on inquiry.
There are £300 in Scholarships annually awarded. Prizes of Books are
also Distributed. The School is annually examined under the Oxford
Examination Delegacy.
Contributions are earnestly solicited. Further information to be obtained at the Office, St. Mak-

KING WILLIAM IV.'s NAVAL ASYLUM,
IrPEINGrOEl.
The Asylum comprises twelve houses for Widows and Orphan Daughters
of Naval Officers, of the rank of Commander, Lieutenant, Navigating
Officer, and Paymaster. Each house is endowed with the interest of £1,000
5 per cent. War Loan, 1929/47.
Ladies are elected by the Governors, as vacancies occur. They must
be out of the state of wedlock at time of admission, and if admitted as
daughters they must be 40 years of age at least. Candidates will not be
eligible who have a yearly income exceeding the rate of pension allowed by
the Admiralty to widows of Naval Officers of the rank of the deceased
husband or father.
They must be members of the Church of England.
