"Not for Stoker Ratings and optional for Coast
Guard Men. The working dress of Stoker Ratings
(Class II) consists of Flannels and Fearnought
Trousers, to provide which a Special Engine-room
Department Clothing Allowance is granted under
Article 1442, King's Regulations, 1913. In the Sub-
marine Service the working dress is to be a Blue
Combination Suit Instead of the Canvas Overall
Suit (Seamen), and Flannels and Fearnought
Trousers (Stokers). Each Seaman Rating (Class II)
in the Submarine Service is supplied with a Blue
Combination 8ult onloan. Stokers In the Submarine
Service provide their own Combination Suits.
