Kits— continued.
Admiral's Coxswains, when employed in the gal
ley, may wear Bluejackets' dress, with Chief Petty
Officers badges, provided they are not put to any
additional expense.
The wearing of Uniform by Officers' Chief
Stewards and Cooks is left to the discretion of the
Officers.

Torpedo Boat Destroyers.
**Not for Stoker Eatings and optional for Coast
Guard Men. The working dress of Stoker Ratings
(Class //) consists of Flannels and Fearnought
Trousers, to provide which a Special Engine-room
Department Clothing Allowance is granted under
Article 1442, King's Eegulations, 1913. In the Sub-
marine Service the working dress i9 to be a Blue
Combination Suit Instead of the Canvas^Overall
Suit (Seamen), and Flannels and Fearnought
Trousers (Stokers). Each Seaman Eating (Class II)
in the Submarine Service is supplied with a Blue
Combination Suit onloan. Stokers in the Submarine
Service provide their own Combination Suits.
