respectively, in a temporary vacancy : —

Command Money to Commissioned Warrant Officers or Warrant
Officers when in command of a ship or Torpedo Boat. Payment of
this allowance concurrently with Gunnery or Torpedo allowance is
only to be made with Admiralty approval
Chief or other Boatswain, or Carpenter, when instructor in Training
Ship, or in any other ship under the special authority of the
Admiralty
Chief Gunners or Gunners when performing Gunnery Lieutenant's
duties in any one of H.M.'s Ships which is allowed a Gunnery
Lieut., and during the period in which such an Officer is not borne
on the Ship's books
Torpedo Commissioned Warrant Officers or Warrant Officers when
performing Torpedo Lieutenant's duties in any one of H.M. Ships
m which both those ranks are allowed in the Scheme of Com-
plement, for the period during which a Torpedo Lieutenant is not
borne on the Ship s books
Tool Money to Carpenters and to Chief Carpenters except when
borne for disposal in the Dep8t Ships at Home

Chief or other Gunners, Boatswains or Carpenters are continued after promotion in cases in which thev
are applicable, under the same conditions. '
