The King's Colours : —
1st Battalion. — Gules (crimson) : In the centre the Imperial Crown ; In base a Grenade fired proper.
2nd Battalion. — Gules (crimson) : In the centre the Royal Cypher reversed and interlaced or, ensigned with
the Imperial Crown ; in base a Grenade fired proper ; In the dexter canton the Union.
3rd Battalion. — As for the 2nd Battalion, with, for difference, issuing from the Union in bend a pile wavy or.
The Regimental Colours : —
The Union : In the centre a company badge ensigned with the Imperial Crown ; in base a Grenade fired
proper.
The 30 company badges are borne in rotation, 8 at a time, one on tbe Regimental Colour of each of the
Battalions.
