(b) The precedence of the Royal Marines is as follows : —
(i) When serving under the Naval Discipline Act (i.e., when landed from H.M. ships or from naval
establishments) they form part of the naval contingent and take precedence immediately after the
Royal Navy.
(li) When serving under the Army Act (i.e., when a Royal Marine unit is furnished from a Royal
Marine division or from a Royal Marine battalion) they take precedence after The Royal Berkshire
Regiment (Princess Charlotte of Wales's).
(c) In order of arms as for Regular Army.
(d) The Rifle Brigade (Prince Consort's Own) rank after The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (Prlneeis
Louise's).
