1 General Sleigh served in Flanders in 1795; in the actions in North Holland and the Helder, 10th and
19th Sept., and 2d and 6th Oct. 1799. In the Peninsula in 1811 and 12. Commanded the 11th Dragoons at
Waterloo, towards the close of which the command of the 4th Brigade devolved on him. In 1819 he ac¬
companied his regiment to India, and commanded the Cavalry division at the siege of Bhurtpore in 1823 & 6.
2 Lieut.-Col. Campbell was present at the taking of the Cape of Good Hope, in 1806; and served
subsequently in the East Indies.
5 Lieut, the Hon. C. Powys, prior to entering the army, served four years as a MkLirpman in the Royal
Navy, and was present during the blockade of Navarin, at the siege and capture of Patras and the Morea
Fort, Gulf of Lepanto, in 1829.
6 Lieutenants Drysdale and Kemp served with tho 4th Light Dragoons during the campaign in Afghanis¬
tan under Lord Keane, and were present at the siege and capture of Ghusnee.
8 Lieut. Trower served with the 16th Lancers during the campaign iu Afghanistan under Lord Keane,
and was present at the siege and capture of Ghuznee, for which ho has received a medal.
