6 Captain Lewis served in the
Burmese war.
7 Captain Kenny served in the
Peninsula, from June, 1813, to the
end of the war, including the action
at Osma; battle of Vittoria; siege
and capture of San Sebastian ;
passage of the Bidassoa (severely
wounded above the left hip); St. Jean
de Luz, and the series of actions
between the. 9th and 13th Dec 181£
in front of the intrenched camp near
Bayonne. Served also in Ava,
and was present in most of the ope¬
rations throughout the war.
8 Capt. Hewson served in the
American war, and was engaged at
the battle of Niagara and siege of
Fort Erie Served also in the Burmese war.
9 Capt. Moore was wounded in action in Canada
in 1813.
10 Capt. M‘Causland served in the Peninsula, from
1812 to the end of the war, including the battles of
Vittoria (wounded), Pyrenees (wounded), Bidassoa,
Nivelle (wounded), Nive and Orthes (wounded).
11 Captain Bell served at the capture of the Isle of
France in 1810, and in the Deccan in 1818.
12 Dr. M'Dermott served at New-Orleans, 8th Jan.

1 Sir C. B Egerton commanded a detachment on board a line-of-battle ship, in Lord Howe’s action of the 1st June, 1794.
Served at the blockade of Malta, and surrender of Valctta, 5th Sept. 1800; from thence proceeded with Sir Ralph Aber-*
cromby’s expedition to Egypt, and was present in the actions of the 13th and 21st March, 1801. Served with the army in
Spain and Portugal,in 1810 and 1811.
2 Col. Basden’s services :—Mahratta war of 1803, 4, and 5, including the taking of Berhampore, Asseerghur, Argaum,
Lasslgaum, Chawdore, Jaulnah and Gawilleghur. American war in 1813 and 14, and was engaged at Long Woods (severely
wounded in the thigh) ; Fort Erie, Black Rock, Buffalo, and battle of the Falls (wounded). Served also through Burmese war.
3 Major Pearse served in the American war, and was engaged at Chrystler’s Farm, and at Niagara, 25th July, 1814, where
he was severely wounded through the arm. Served in the East Indies and the Burman empire, from Feb. 1816 to the end
of the war, including the captures of forts Loghur, Issapore, Koarre, and Ryghur in 1818; assault on Rarree, 13th Feb. 1819;
action near the Dagon Pagoda, 5th July, 24; assault of Mergui; Cockain ; attack on Donabew, Zembeik, Mellown, and
JPon(abew, besides many other affairs during the war.
4 Major Aplin served in the Peninsula, from Feb. 1811 to the end of the.war, including the battle of Salamanca, siege of
Bnrgos, and capture of Madrid. Served also throughout the Burmese war, and was present in numerous engagements with
the enemy.
5 Major Thorp served in the Peninsula, from June, 1811 to the end of the war, including the affairs of Elbodon and
Allaytes; siege and storming of Ciudad Rodrigo ; battles of the Pyrenees ; crossing the Bidassoa; St, Jean de Luz, and differ¬
ent actions investing Bayonne, and sortie from Bayonne.
