1 General Finch served in
Flanders; and, in 1799, com¬
manded the first battalion of his
regt. (the Coldstream Guards)
in the expedition to the Helder;
and a brigade of Light Cavalry,
and afterwards of Infantry in
the campaign to Egypt. He
also accompanied the expedition
to Copenhagen in 1807.
2 Col. Falconar’s services:—
first Egyptian campaign; cam¬
paigns of 1805-6 in Italy, in¬
cluding battle of Maida, siege of
Scylla, and capture of Catrone.
Second Egyptian campaign, in¬
cluding the siege of Rosetta,
and action at El Hamet. Cam¬
paign of 1814, in Holland, including action at
Merxem and bombardment of Antwerp. Cam¬
paign of 1815, in Flanders. Besides the above,
various other desultory services and skirmishes.
Medal for services in Egypt.
8 Mty'or Keappock was at the capture of the
Isle of France in 1810.
