1 Sir William Rowan seiwed with the 52nd Regiment in Sicily in 1806-07; on the expedition to Sweden in 1828;
in Portugal and Spain under Sir John Moore, from Aug. 1808 to the embarkation of the Army at Corunna, at the
bombardment and capture of Flushing in 1809; in Portugal in 1811, including the action at Sabugal; in the Peninsula
and south of France from January 1813 to the end of the war, including the battles of Yittoria and the Pyrenees;
attack of the entrenched Camp at Vera during the passage of the Bidassoa river; attack of the fortified
positions of La Rhune and Sarre during the passage of the river Nivelle, battle on passing the riv§r Nive, and
attack by the French of the Heights of Arcanguez, battles of Orthes and Toulouse, and intermediate affairs. Served
also the campaign of 1815, and was present at the battle of Waterloo and capture of Paris, when he was appointed
commandant of the first arrondissement of that city. Promoted to Brevet Major for the battle of Orthes, and
Brevet Lt.Colonel for services in the field (War Medal with six Clasps).
2 Lt.Colonel Hon. E. G. Curzon served in India during the mutiny in 1857-58 (Medal).
6 Quarter Master Reilly served in India during the mutiny in 1857-58 (Medal).
