I 1 Sir George Henry Lockwood commanded the 3rd Light Dragoons throughout the campaign of 1842 in Affghan-
Istan under General Pollock (Medal, and CB.), and was present at forcing the Khyber Pass, storming the Heights of
jJugdulluck, action of Tezeen, and Huftkotul, occupation of Cabool, siege and capture of Istaliff. He served also
5n the Punjaub campaign of 1848-49, and commanded a Brigade at the battle of Goojerat (Medal with one Clasp).
I 2 Captain Nettles served with the 3rd Hussars throughout the Punjaub campaign of 1848-49, and was present at the
actions of Ramnuggur and Sadoolapore, and with the Grey Squadron in the charge at Chillianwallah (Medal with
Clasp).
| 3 Major Lukin served with the 17th Foot at the siege of Sebastopol from Dec. 1854 to June 1855 (Medal with Clasp,
md Turkish Medal). Served with the 2nd Dragoon Guards in the Indian campaign of 1858-59, including the siege
and capture of Lucknow and Trans-Gogra affairs at Bungaon (Medal with Clasp).
