1 Major General Low served the Eastern campaign of 3854-55, including the battles of Alma, Balaklava, Inker-
man, and Tchernaya, siege and fall of Sebastopol, also present with the Light Cavalry Brigade at Eupatoria; at
Inkerman he commanded the Regiment (Medal with four Clasps, Brevet of Lt.Colonel, Knight of the Legion of
Honor, Sardinian and Turkish Medals, and 4th Class of the Medjidie).
2 Lt. Colonel Steward served with the 2nd Dragoon Guards in the Indian campaign, and was present at the affair
of Dawah, and Trans-Gogra affairs at Bungaon (Medal).
6 Major Sneyd served with the 2nd Dragoon Guards in the Indian campaign in 1858-59, including the action of
Nusserutpore, siege and capture of Lucknow, subsequent operations, and action of Koorsee (Medal with Clasp).
4 Captain Ormsby served with the 2nd Dragoon Guards in the Indian campaign in 1858-59, and was present at
the action of Nusserutpore, commanded a detachment at the relief of Azimghur, and served the Oude campaign,
utterly as Orderly Officer to Brigadier Barker, including the action of Jamo, assault and capture of Birwah, and
Trans-Gogra affairs at Bungaon and Newabghur (Medal).
7 Captain O’Beirne served with the 2nd Dragoon Guards in the Oude campaign of 1858-59, including the crossing
the Gogra at Fyzabad, and affairs at Bungaon (Medal).
Captain Greatorex served with the 2nd Dragoon Guards in the Indian campaign in 1859, including the Trans-
Gogra affairs at Bungaon and Newabghur (Medal).
11 Quarter Master Tuckett served with the 2nd Dr.Gds. in the Indian campaign in 1858-59,including the siege and
capture of Lucknow, actions of Koorsee, Nawabgunge, and Jamo, and the Trans-Gogra affairs at Bungaon (Medal
with Clasp).
13 Lieut. Relf served with the 10th Hussars in the Crimean campaign from the 17th April 1855, including the cap¬
ture of Tchorgaum, battle of the Tcherlftya, Expedition to Kertch, and destruction of and affairs at Taman (Medal
with Clasp, and Turki.sh Medal).
