12 Captain Williamson served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battles of Alma and Inker-

J3 Captain Falkner served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, attached to the Commissariat, including the

14 Captain Macpherson served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battles of Alma and
Inkerman, siege of Sebastopol, and sortie of 26th Oct. (Medal and Clasps, and 5th Class of the Medjidie).
15 Captains Hill and Singleton, Lieuts. Fleming and Wood, served at the siege of Sebastopol in 1855
(Medal and Clasp).
16 Captain Hobbs, Qr.-Master Moon, and Assistant-Surgeon Milroy, served the Eastern campaign of
1854, including the battles of the Alma and Inkerman, and siege of Sebastopol (Medal and Clasps). Assist.-
Surgeon Milroy has the 5th Class of the Medjidie.
18 Lieut. Austin served at the siege of Sebastopol in 1855, and at the assault on the Redan on the
8th Sept. (Medal and'Clusp, and 5th Class of the Medjidie).
19 Captain Moorsom served at the siege of Sebastopol, and at the assault on the Redan on the 8th Sept.
1855, where he was severely wounded in the left arm (Medal and Clasp).
21 Captain Gubbins served at the siege of Sebastopol in 1855, and sortie of 5th June—mentioned in

5 Major Eagar served the campaign of 1842 in Affghanistan, including the actions of Mazeena, Tezeen,
and Jugdulluck, the occupation of Cabool, and the different engagements leading to it (Medal). Served in
the Crimea from 11th June 1855, as Brigade Major of 2nd Brigade 1st Division from 19th Aug. 1855,
to 17tli Jan. 1856, and was present at the siege of Sebastopol and attacks on the 18th June and 8th Sept.
(Medal and Clasp, Brevet Major, Knight of the Legion of Honor, and 5th Class of the Medjidie).
8 Major Swaffield, Captains Baldwin, Schrelber, Swettenham, and Mitchell, Lieuts. Cassidy, Fairfax,
Fyler, Pepper, and Bayley,served in the Crimea from 22nd May 1855, including the siege of Sebastopol and
attacks on the 18th June and 8th Sept. (Medal and Clasp). Major Swaffield and Captain Schreiber have the
5th Class of the Medjidie.
9 Captain Brown served in the Crimea from 22nd May to 11th July, and from 14th Sept. 1855, including
the siege of Sebastopol and attack on 18th June (Medal and Clasp).
10 Capt. Law served with the 31st throughout the campaign of 1842 in Affghanistan (Medal), including the
actions of Mazeena, Tezeen, and Jugdulluck, the occupation ©f Cabool, and the different engagements lead¬
ing to it. He served also the Sutlej campaign of 1845-46, including the battles of Moodkee, Ferozeshah,
Buddiwal, Aliwal, and Sobraon (severely wounded): Medal and three Clasps.
11 Capt. Hutton served with the 31st Regt. throughout the Sutlej campaign of 1845-46, including the
battles of Moodkee, Ferozeshah (wounded), Buddiwal, Aliwal, and Sobraon (Medal and three Clasps).
Served in the Crimea in 1855 during the siege and at the fall of Sebastopol (Medal and Clasp).
12 Captain Macbean, Lieuts. Leeson and Rycroff, served in the Crimea from 6th Aug. 1855, including
the siege ot Sebastopol and attack on the 8th Sept. (Medal and Clasp). Lieutenant Leeson has the 5th Class
of the Medjidie.
13 Captain Temple served in the Crimea from 3rd Sept. 1855, including the siege of Sebastopol and attack
on the 8th Sept. (Medal and Clasp).
14 C iplain Prevost served in the Crimea from 22nd May 1855, including the siege and fall of Sebastopol
and attack of the 8th Sept.; he was wounded on the 17th June (Medal and Clasp).
15 Lieut. Cary served in the Crimea from 22nd May to 23rd Aug. 1855, including the siege of Sebastopol
and attack on the 18th June (Medal and Clasp).
16 Surgeon Atkinson served with the 31st Regt. in the Crimea from 7th July 1855, including the siege
and fall of Sebastopol, and attack of the Redan on the 8th Sept. 58 (Medal and Clasp).
17 Assist.-Surgeon Grant served in the Crimea from 12th Nov. to 28th Dec. 1854, and from 31st July
1855, including the siege of Sebastopol, and attack on the 8th Sept. (Medal and Clasp).
18 Lieut. Hamilton served in the Crimea from 22nd May to 15th June 1855 (Medal and Clasp for Se¬
bastopol).
19 Captain Harcourt was at the battle of the Alma (Medal and Clasps).
