Distinctions permitted to be borne by such Regiments on their Standards or Colours, or in the case of Regi¬
ments having no Standards or Colours on their Appointments, in commemoration of their Services.
The words “Imperial Service” shown at the head of a unit of the Territorial Force denote that
90 per cent, of the establishment of that unit accept liability for sendee abroad. (Vide Army Order
No. 3 of 1910).
Officers whose names are printed in Ifalies are on the Supernumerary or Seconded Lists.
In Regimental Lists an Officer’s Battalion is indicated by a number against his name; a number enclosed
in brackets denotes that the Officer is attached and not posted.
